Philosophy
The symbol of the Griffon – an imaginary beast with the head of an eagle and the body of a lion – represents
our conviction that innovation requires 'visionary foresight' (eagle) backed by 'powerful execution' (lion)
History
Griffon was founded by James Cullinan, who was formerly an Executive Consultant in the Business Transformation unit of KPMG
Consulting and a director of a smaller innovation consultancy in London
James launched his first brand product in 1993. Since then he has brought innovative expertise to Natwest, Credit Suisse,
GlaxoSmithKline, Airbus and Jamie Oliver
James holds an M.A. from Oxford University and an MBA from INSEAD, where
he was awarded the Sasakawa Young Leader Foundation Scholarship
